Sims Patrick Studio is proud to have designed the public space and implemented and documented the prototype CYNergy guestrooms for the new Courtyard Marriott. The official ribbon cutting celebrated the opening of the $10 million, 108-room hotel with 3,000 square feet of conference space. The hotel design’s architecture is similar to its next-door neighbor, the Carrollton Cultural Arts Center. The hotel offers an indoor pool, fitness center, bar, lounge, restaurant and guest laundry.
From left are Carroll County Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Daniel Jackson; District 1 county Commissioner Trent North; RA-LIN and Associates President Ben Garrett; City Councilman Jim Watters; Josh Chapman, president at Linco Properties, LLC; Mayor Wayne Garner; Nick Lakha, president of Paramount Hospitality Management, LLC; and Mike Patterson, a city councilman who is with Commercial Realty Services of West Georgia. The hotel held a soft opening last week.
