Over $1 Million Raised for ALS Research!

night of hope

Over a million dollars raised for ALS research! The MDA Night of Hope gala was a fantastic evening of stories, dinner and dancing, but the reason we were there was to raise money for ALS research. And it was a tremendous success! Co-chairs Steak and Kimberly Shapiro, all of the sponsors, the MDA team, and all the guests helped make this a record-breaking evening. The proceeds go directly toward MDA ALS clinics across the country, including Emory.  Thank you so much, especially, to Gerry King and Nicole Higgins at Ceramic Technics for being a sponsor, as well as Bill Capehart and Mike Severance with BCA for their support of this event.

Sims Patrick Studio has made the push to find a cure for ALS a major focus of our philanthropy. The Sims Family Foundation, has given over $100,000 to seed this event over the last nine years.  Libby, her husband, Carl, and her family are passionate to find a cure after losing her brother, Bill, to ALS eight years ago.  She and her sister, Sheri Hofherr, have been on the gala committee for nine years and have co-chaired in the past.  We are so proud to be a part of this event!
